Feminine and luxurious is how to describe Phoenix.

We opened our flagship cosmetics boutique on Broadway, New Market in early May 2005.

One of only a handful of New Zealand owned cosmetics companies; Phoenix is the brainchild of make-up artist Phoenix Renata. Sill in her 20s this entrepreneurial young woman saw a gap in the market and set out to fill it. Three years of intensive research and product development led Phoenix to make her dream of creating a range of makeup that caters to all women, into a reality.

“Not all women know what products to buy or how to apply make-up well, we want to show clients how to make-up the most of their beauty routine with quality advice as well as quality products’. “With the boutique I wanted to create an environment in which people would feel relaxed and at home and not intimidated to try new products”

With 9 boutiques in New Zealand and 1 in Australia, they are staffed entirely by trained make-up artists, something Phoenix thinks is essential to ensure clients leave with the correct make-up for their skin type and colouring.

Ultimately Phoenix’s dream is to grow Phoenix Cosmetics into a make-up brand that women look to for beauty and fashion advice, with products and services that excel.
